Frequently Asked Questions

Little Haven Child Care is open Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed on major holidays including New Year's, MLK Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We also close one week per year for paid vacation.

Our weekly rate is $375 per child (age 2+) and $399 per infant. Hourly care is available at $20/hour. There is a late/early pickup fee of $2.00 per minute (using cell phone time), and a late payment fee of $10.00 per day after the due date.

You must provide a complete physical on file (dated no earlier than 6 months prior to admission), proof of all immunizations, a TB test result, and a lead screening. All paperwork must be completed and signed prior to your child's first day. A deposit equal to 2 weeks of care is required upon enrollment.

We prefer the word "guidance" over discipline. No child will ever be hit, spanked, belittled, or intimidated — even with parental permission. We use positive reinforcement, redirection, clear expectations, and age-appropriate time-outs (about 1 minute per year of age, never more than 15 minutes). No child will ever be punished for toilet accidents.
